Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Tvini LLC ("Tvini", "we", "us") collects when you use the MyStock apps for iOS and Android and the website at my-stock.app (the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Tvini is responsible for your information as described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), or the identifier from a sign-in provider if you use one.
- Charts and inputs you submit: chart images you photograph or upload, and symbols or company names you enter for analysis.
- Watchlist and preferences: the stocks you follow, your answers to onboarding questions, and app settings.
- Messages to us: anything you send when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data: IP address, device identifiers generated by the app, device model, operating system and app version, and time zone.
- Usage data: which features you use and when (for example, analyses you run and briefings you open), and diagnostic logs such as error reports.
Purchase information
- When you subscribe, Apple or Google processes your payment. We never receive your card or bank details. We receive a purchase record from the store (product, subscription status, dates, and a transaction identifier) so we can confirm your subscription and unlock paid features.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To provide the Service, including generating analyses of the charts and symbols you submit, showing your watchlist, and personalizing news briefings to the stocks you follow.
- To verify subscriptions and manage access to paid features.
- To keep the Service reliable and safe: preventing fraud and abuse, enforcing usage limits, troubleshooting, and security monitoring.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (see "Advertising measurement" below).
- To respond to you and to send service messages, such as account or security notices.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of
it, including:
- AI model providers, which receive the chart images and symbols you submit in order to generate your analysis;
- cloud hosting and database providers that run our servers;
- email delivery providers, for account and service messages.
- Apple and Google, which process your subscription purchases under their own privacy policies.
- Advertising measurement partners, as described below.
- Legal and safety reasons: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Tvini, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: if Tvini is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Market data and news in the Service come from third-party providers. We do not send them your personal information.
Advertising measurement
The MyStock apps include TikTok's App Events SDK, which tells TikTok when the app is installed, opened, or a subscription is started, together with device and technical data (such as IP address and, where available, the device's advertising identifier). This lets us measure whether our TikTok ads work. We do not share your email address, watchlist, or charts with TikTok. TikTok's use of this data is governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.
- iOS: the app asks your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before sharing your device's advertising identifier. If you decline, it is not shared, and measurement relies on Apple's privacy-preserving attribution instead. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in Settings › Privacy › Ads.
How long we keep information
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account information, watchlist, preferences | Until you delete your account |
| Chart images and analyses | Until you delete them or your account |
| Purchase records | As long as needed to provide your subscription, and afterwards as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes |
| IP addresses, security and diagnostic logs | 90 days, unless needed longer to investigate abuse or a security incident |
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: in the app (Account › Delete account) or through our data deletion page. This deletes your account and associated data, except records we must keep for legal reasons. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel it in your store settings.
- Access, correct, or export: contact us and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
- Advertising: see "Advertising measurement" above.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, or to complain to a data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
For users in the EU, UK, and similar jurisdictions
We process your information to perform our contract with you (providing the Service and your subscription), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service, and measuring advertising, balanced against your rights), to comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent. Your information is processed in the United States, where our servers and providers are located. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
For California residents
We collect the categories of information described above (identifiers, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity, and user-generated content) for the purposes described above. We do not sell personal information. The TikTok measurement described above may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out by contacting us or by using the advertising controls in your device settings.
Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The "Last updated" date shows when the policy last changed.
